AOL News has relaunched itself as a "News 2.0" website.
At first glance, they seem to be doing a pretty good job of it. It's the kind of news site that I think appeals to both traditionalists (and I admit to being a traditionalist) and to people who prefer new community generated and/or selected news.
There's a wide center column which combines editor-selected "lead" stories, photos, video where available, polls and other interactive features. There's a left-hand column where you find user-submitted stories, with plenty of comments on the individual stories. On the right, there are summaries of other news, lots more photos and videos and links to their blog sites.
