Ready for the Chumby?

Happy New Year, one and all. From Australia, the Sydney Morning Herald has peered at the Internet through its crystal ball and come up with another "ten" list - of things that "will change your future."

That would include the Chumby, which sounds like a fascinating gadget, as well as developments involving Twitter, hyperlocal news, meshed Wi-Fi networks and the like. I'm not sure some of these are particularly practical or useful, but I think you'll find them all interesting.
