The Frightened Stiff

That's the title of this week's podcast on Classic Mysteries. "The Frightened Stiff," by Kelley Roos, attempts to answer the all-too-common etiquette question: what is the right thing to say when the police awaken you in your basement apartment to inform you that there is a naked corpse out in your garden which appears to have been drowned in your bathtub. That's only the beginning of the book, and it's a great comedy-mystery, set in New York's Greenwich Village in the 1940s. Get the full review by clicking on the link from the right hand column.
